Notification from Canvas that Google will deprecate the API Canvas uses by April 20, 2015
Solution:
Sent lms.advisory.team an email stating the following:
Just a notice to all of you helping manage our Canvas LMS.
Canvas can integrate with Google Docs. This will allow users to,
for example, start collaboration projects using Google Docs
Google is phasing out their current interface that Canvas uses.
Canvas knows about this, and will replace it with the new interface without
anything from us.
BUT, just to make you aware, users MIGHT get an annoying error
message from Google between now and April 20:
“Important notice:
OAuth1 for Google accounts is going away on April 20, 2015. Learn more.”
This message can be safely ignored. It’s being taken care of.
